Has anyone experienced foot pain after delivery? I have pain on my heel and arch of both feet. When I get up to walk I feel like I'm walking on rocks and my feet need to be stretched out, which I do but doesn't seem to solve the problem. Has anyone else experienced this same problem? If so, what did you do?

    Hi monicam
plantar fasciitis can happen to Pregnant women due to weight gain and the pregnancy hormones that cause ligaments to loosen and relax.
Probably you spend more time on your feet while taking care of the baby.
Consult your doc and try cold therapy and stretching.
    Take care

I had foot pain after my first child was born but I think it was because I spent most of the day on my feet.
At the end it just went away without any special care. I guess I started to relax...

    Hi monicam
I can remember strong feet pain after my second child was born. Today he is 5 and I can tell you that the pain has gone away with no special treatment. Back then I thought that it is because I spend all day on my feet. Today I think that maybe this was the start of my plantar fasciitis.
Anyway I think it will get better soon.

I had it after my first kid was born but my case was easily fixed by wearing arch support shoes round the house rather than walking bare foot.

Your doc can make you custom-made orthotics which will help the pain very fast.

I have a friend who had plantar fasciitis with a strong foot pain even before she gave birth.
She had a lot of pain while taking care of her baby until she found a new shoes that helped her.
after a few months she got better and her pain was gone.
